بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم.
هذا مقال كتبته في الرد على الرافضة باللغة الإنجليزية بعنوان "لماذا يحرم الرافضة أكل لحم الأرنب؟"
The Rafidha prohibit the consumption of rabbit meat. The question is why?
There is no single verse in the Qur'an that prevents Muslims from eating rabbit meat, but there are verses that prevent Muslims from eating pork for example.
Allah says in the Qur'an in Surat Al-Ma'idah Chapter 5 Verse 3:
Prohibited to you are dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah , and [those animals] killed by strangling or by a violent blow or by a head-long fall or by the goring of horns, and those from which a wild animal has eaten, except what you [are able to] slaughter [before its death], and those which are sacrificed on stone altars, and [prohibited is] that you seek decision through divining arrows. That is grave disobedience. This day those who disbelieve have despaired of [defeating] your religion; so fear them not, but fear Me. This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion. But whoever is forced by severe hunger with no inclination to sin - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
So as we can see, pork, or swine, has been prohibited in the Holy Qur'an, but where can the Rafidha show us the verse that prohibits Muslims from eating rabbit meat? Nowhere in the Qur'an!
However, the Rafidha still consider rabbit meat to be forbidden (Haram), why?
There is one simple answer to that question, they follow the Torah, the Jewish holy book, or the Hebrew Bible!
So where in the Torah or the Hebrew Bible does it say that it is forbidden to consume rabbit meat?
In the Book of Leveticus Chapter 11 Verse 6 we read:
6 The rabbit, though it chews the cud, does not have a divided hoof; it is unclean for you.

Because if the rafidha don't follow the torah by prohibiting the rafidha from eating rabbit meat, where else did they bring that prohibition from?
والله أعلم.
